Clan Registration - Terms and Conditions

Effective date: 10/8/2025

These terms describe the rules for creating and maintaining a clan on GAGAGO. Event-specific rules may add to or override parts of these terms. By submitting a clan, you confirm you have authority to do so and agree to these terms.

1) Eligibility

  • You must be 13+. If you are under the age of majority in your location, you need parent/guardian consent.

  • You must have a valid way to be contacted (email).

2) Authority & Consent

  • The person submitting the clan (“Captain”) confirms they have permission from each listed member to include their gamertag and any media/links provided.

  • The Captain is responsible for keeping information accurate and up to date.

3) Naming & Branding

  • Clan names and branding must be unique, non-misleading, and non-infringing (no impersonation, trademarks, or copyrighted material you don’t own).

  • No hate speech, harassment, or obscene/offensive content.

  • GAGAGO may require a name change or remove branding that violates these rules.

4) Roster & Types

  • Duo: 2 members. Team: 3–8 members (max 8).

  • Members should have or create a registered GAGAGO player profile.

  • A player may be in multiple clans unless event rules say otherwise. It’s the player’s responsibility to comply with event-specific eligibility limits.

5) Captain Responsibilities

  • Maintain the roster (add/remove members, correct gamertags).

  • Respond to verification requests (e.g., proof of membership, event participation).

  • Submit updates through the designated Edit/Update form/page.

6) Accuracy & Verification

  • All submitted information must be true and accurate. We may ask for evidence (e.g., proof of results).

  • Submissions we cannot verify may be rejected or removed.

7) Code of Conduct

  • No cheating, exploiting, match-fixing, sandbagging, or falsifying results.

  • No harassment or discriminatory behavior against players, staff, or community members.

  • Respect event officials and decisions. Violations can lead to penalties or removal.

8) Event Participation & Scoring

  • GAGAGO may review, validate, and adjust results and rankings to maintain integrity.

  • Scoring formulas may be updated over time (e.g., to better weight competitive factors). We’ll apply updates fairly and consistently.

  • If you believe there is a scoring or results error, report it within a reasonable window (e.g., 72 hours) with evidence. GAGAGO’s determination is final.

9) Media, Logos & Promotion

  • By submitting a clan, you grant GAGAGO a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and promote your clan name, logo, roster, and linked media (e.g., highlight videos) across our site, social channels, and promotional materials.

  • You warrant you have the rights to everything you submit. You can request removal of certain materials by contacting us.

10) Privacy

  • Clan pages are public. Do not submit private information you don’t want displayed.

  • We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy (link your policy). You can request access, correction, or deletion as permitted by law.

11) Moderation & Inactivity

  • We may edit, hide, or remove clans or content that violate these terms or community standards.

  • Clans may be marked inactive (or removed) after prolonged inactivity (e.g., 6 months) or repeated non-response to verification.

12) Disputes & Reports

  • To report issues (e.g., impersonation, cheating), use our Report form or contact email with details and evidence.

  • GAGAGO may request further information and will make a good-faith determination.

13) Service & Liability

  • GAGAGO and its services are provided “as is.” We don’t guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free scoring, or particular outcomes.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, GAGAGO is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from participation or use of the site.

14) Changes to These Terms

  • We may update these terms at any time. We’ll post the revised version and adjust the effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
